GF Raspberry Ale:
So far I think cider is the way to go when it comes to drinking gluten free. The gf beers I’ve tried are always just, well, gross.

Gf/Df Mac n’ Cheese:
Visited Portland couple of days ago and found so much delicious gf/df foods! These little gem was at Vita Cafe.
Thinking about it now I should have asked what kind of cheese they used. It was more runny than chunky like my homemade version. Any thoughts?
Back to basics, eating clean talk by Amie Valpone was amazing. She talked about how gf food like meat, veggie, and fruit are NATURALLY GF. Like duhhh, right? It’s so simple but it’s a good refresher since it’s easy to get caught up in feeling “normal” or having an on the go life.

Gluten free, dairy free birthday celebration! Having brunch with a mix of people can be easy with some slight changes to the menu. BIRTHDAY MENU: •Fruit salad (strawberry, raspberry, apple, pear, blueberry) • Sandwiches with gf Udi’s bread and regular whole grain bread •Gf/df cupcakes AND vegan cupcakes from Corina Bakery

So here’s the deal. I have been pretty good at staying away from the things I’m allergic/intolerant to ..well with the exception of tomatoes.. that one is really hard. The problem is that my tummy is still mad at me for a large chunk of time SO my plan is to go back to the basics. NO eating out, NO mixes, NO boxed anything, and limit the processed foods. You may be thinking, what the hell are you going to eat you crazy woman?!??! WELL, I am going to eat meat, veggies, fruits, rice, corn, quinoa in a mix and match fashion.
Fresh fruits & veggies, organic meats, healthy healthy healthy, here goes nothin.

Tasty Macaroons <3 This is an easy and delicious treat! Recipe is as followed.
1 1/3 cups grated sweetened coconut 1/3 cups sugar 3 tablespoons brown rice flour 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 egg whites 1 teaspoon pure vanilla
1.preheat oven to 325°F . Line baking sheet with parchment paper. 2.in bowl, mix all ingredients together. 3.form round macaroons and place on prepared baking sheet. 4.place in oven and bake for 15 minutes.

Gf/df breakfast. I’m visit my previous home, San Francisco,CA for the next couple of days. Expect pics if all the delicious allergen free food :-) Just arrived and had to go to one of my fav coffee shops,Coffee Bar in the mission.
